hows this for a plan: create a depression by looting and defrauding; bring in measures that create chronic fear; offer to fix it; stir up hatred; push people into violence and war; make lots of nice money from that too; use that to create more hatred and fear. good game! good game! think we have been had? ffs!
500,000 people on facebook disagreed enough with Simon Cowell’s pop dictatorship, and toppled his empire in 2009. we CAN do the same. Be inspired and take action!!!
Truth & JusticeIn Iceland, the people have made the government resign, the primary banks have been nationalizedand it was decided not to pay the debt that these created with Great Britain and Holland due to their bad financial politics, and a public assembly has been created to rewrite the constitution. And all of this has been done in a peaceful way. A whole revolution against the powers that have created the current crisis. This is why there hasn’t been any publicity duringthe last two years: What would happen if the restof the EU citizens took this as an example? Whatwould happen if the US citizens took this as anexample? This is a summary of the facts:2008. The main bank of the country isnationalized. The Krona, the currency of Icelanddevaluates and the stock market stops. Thecountry is in bankruptcy2008. The citizens protest in front of parliamentand manage to get new elections that make theresignation of the prime minister and his wholegovernment. The country is in bad economic situation. A lawproposes paying back the debt to Great Britainand Holland through the payment of 3,500million euros, which will be paid by the people ofIceland monthly during the next 15 years, with a5.5% interest.2010. The people go out in the streets anddemand a referendum. In January 2010 thepresident denies the approval and announces apopular meeting. In March the referendum and the denial ofpayment is voted in by 93%. Meanwhile thegovernment has initiated an investigation to bringto justice those responsible for the crisis, andmany high level executives and bankers arearrested. The Interpol dictates an order that make all theimplicated parties leave the country. In this crisis an assembly is elected to rewrite anew Constitution which can include the lessonslearned from this, and which will substitute thecurrent one (a copy of the Danish Constitution).25 citizens are chosen, with no political affiliation, out of the 522 candidates. For candidacy all thatwas needed was to be an adult and have thesupport of 30 people. The constitutional assembly starts in February of2011 to present the ‘carta magna’ from therecommendations given by the differentassemblies happening throughout the country. Itmust be approved by the current Parliament andby the one constituted through the next legislativeelections. So in summary of the Icelandic revolution: -resignation of the whole government -nationalization of the bank. -referendum so thatthe people can decide over the economicdecisions. -incarcerating the responsible parties -rewriting of the constitution by its people.- Crowz Eye via Debi Samuels——————————————–Please share this. The population in Iceland is small enough and socially integrated enough so that word of mouth and social solidarity could over come the global media information cartel. What we have to do is continually disceminate our truth in as many way
s as possible especially in inovative ways that circumvent the blocks to our message from the corporate media. It is going to take a long time. But more and more diverse groups are coming to similar conclusions and at some point a critical mass will be reached when we can join with others to create the conditions under which a rational currency, functional democracy and social equality can be attained. I think that cultural avenues have been neglected in getting our message out. I think that artists, poets and musicians are familiar with the problems of getting their message out and can evolve strategies for media events that carry our message. We need to think of one or two iconic events that can be rolled out all over the country that do not provoke the reactance of social control and express in an accessable message that filters into the collective concience and stirs thought.
